I’ve spent the last nine years saving up to make a serious attempt at publishing my own books. Well, it’s finally time! As a Christmas gift to myself, I decided to quit my job and take a six-month leap of faith. During this time, I’ll be writing, editing, and promoting all the creative projects I share on this site—and I couldn’t be more excited!
For the past decade, I’ve worked desk jobs—one toxic, one wonderful—but the dream has always been to work for myself doing something creative. I know it’s not the most unique dream, but I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position to go after it. Now that I have this chance, I plan to give it my all.
The first book in The Last Eclipse series, The Ghost of Midormere, is set to launch in March—right around my birthday. 🥳 Leading up to that release, I’ll be sharing teasers, cover reveals, and other updates right here on the blog.
Starting in January, my free online novel, The Grimm and the Reaper, will also double its weekly chapters, wrapping up just a week before the main series launches.
If you’re unfamiliar with The Grimm and the Reaper, it’s a story set in the same world as The Last Eclipse, but takes place before the main events begin. It’s packed with juicy foreshadowing and Easter eggs for those who read both the online story and the novel.
